Image requirements

Resolution

We recommend that all files be at 300dpi for the best print quality. If the resolution is lower, the print quality will decrease accordingly. While we can print files at any resolution you upload, please be aware that the final result may not meet your expectations if the resolution is too low.

File format

Our website only accepts PNG files. If your files are in a different format and you're having trouble uploading them, don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support at info@BuyDTFOnline.com. We'll do our best to assist you with files in any format.

Color

We print on professional equipment with high-quality color profiling. However, it's important to remember that the RGB color space contains many colors and shades that cannot be reproduced on a CMYK printer. These colors will be converted to the closest possible match that can be printed. The best approach is to avoid using non-printable RGB colors in your designs—most graphic editors will alert you if a chosen color cannot be printed. If you do use these colors, keep in mind that they will still be converted and printed in the CMYK palette.

Image width and length

The maximum image width is 23", but you can always upload images of any smaller width. There's no need to leave empty spaces on the sides—your image can take up the full allowable width. The length is entirely up to you.

Transparency and background

All images should have a transparent background. If your image has a white, black, or any other background, it will be printed exactly as it appears. We don’t offer background removal or any file modifications. Transparency should be either 100% (completely transparent) or 0% (completely opaque). Partial transparency is not allowed. Using semi-transparent areas can lead to unpredictable print quality and often causes issues during transfer. Please avoid using semi-transparent elements in your designs.

Which is better—long prints or short prints?

You can upload either a few very long files or shorter ones and specify the number of copies. The price will remain the same, so feel free to choose whichever option is more convenient for you.
